FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about ordering, compliance, and our RUO products.
01What does 'Research Use Only' (RUO) mean?
RUO products are manufactured and sold exclusively for in vitro (test tube/laboratory) research. They are neither approved nor cleared for, and are not intended for, human use, diagnostic procedures, or clinical applications of any kind.
02Who can purchase from German Aminos?
We supply licensed research institutions, universities, pharmaceutical companies, and qualified researchers. By placing an order, you confirm that you hold the appropriate credentials and facilities to handle research compounds.
03Do you provide a Certificate of Analysis (CoA)?
Yes. Every batch comes with a CoA documenting its purity, identity, and testing methodology (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR). CoAs are available on the product page, or you can request one.
04How are orders shipped?
Everything leaves our Poland base in discreet, temperature-appropriate packaging carrying the required hazard labelling, and goes out by DHL (DPD or GLS on some routes) within the EU. See our Shipping Policy for delivery windows and carrier details.
05Can I return a product?
Owing to the nature of research compounds, returns are limited. Our Refund & Returns policy provides full details on eligibility, timeframes, and how to handle damaged or incorrect items.
06Are your products legal to purchase?
Rules differ from one country to the next. It is the buyer's responsibility alone to meet every applicable national and EU regulation before ordering or using any product. German Aminos supplies strictly for laboratory research.
07How should I store research compounds?
The precise storage conditions (temperature, humidity, light) are listed on each product page and its CoA. As a general rule, store peptides and lyophilized compounds at −20 °C, sealed and protected from moisture.
Not for Human Consumption. For Research Use Only.
